Explore Neve Tzedek

History preserved in the heart of Tel Aviv. The charms of Neve Tzedek hold just a true today as they did 120 years ago. A quiet, quaint oasis of calm in the heart of the bustling metropolis, it’s safe to say that this neighborhood is one of the city's trendiest areas - and we just couldn't recommend it enough. It has a unique village feel to it: stroll down the cobbled high street and explore the Israeli designer boutiques and character pubs, or meander down the adjacent alleyways and pop into the cafes and artisan bakeries for a lazy Sunday brunch. Wedged between the beach, Rothschild Boulevard and the Carmel Market, this is a neighborhood that the locals are very happy to keep under wraps. Shrouded in historical significance, Neve Tzedek dates back to 1887, with narrow streets surrounded by oriental architecture recently restored to their former glory and interspersed with the odd modern touch. The low-rise residential buildings were originally home to artists, writers and the working classes, and now continue to house a community consisting largely of young professionals and others of the creative inclination.
